How to play
Snakes and Ladders is a classic board game passed down for hundreds of years. Players roll dice to move their pieces, climbing ladders to advance quickly or sliding down snakes to fall back, with the first player to reach the end winning.
Game Rules:
- Roll Dice: Take turns rolling dice, advance by the number rolled
- Ladder Reward: Landing at the bottom of a ladder climbs to the top
- Snake Penalty: Landing on a snake's head slides to its tail
- Reach the End: Be the first to exactly reach square 100 (or the last square)
Board Layout:
- Usually a 10×10 grid (100 squares total)
- Start at square 1, finish at square 100
- Ladders connect lower squares to higher squares (ascend)
- Snakes connect higher squares to lower squares (descend)
Variant Rules:
- Must Land Exactly: Must roll exact number to finish
- Can Overshoot: Allowed to pass end, move back the excess squares
- Double Dice: Use two dice for faster movement
- Special Squares: Some squares have special effects
Multiplayer:
- Supports 2-6 players simultaneously
